Another Group Victory
Sam was unable to add to her Group One Telegraph victories on Eight Schillings yesterday, however she did leave with a group two victory to take her total of group and listed wins for the season to eight. Eight Schillings gave a good showing in the group one feature Telegraph. He lead the field into the straight before Atomic Force took the lead at about the 300m mark. They were both swamped by the big late run of Guiseppina who took out the $300000 group one event. Eight schillings fought on well to hold down fourth.
In the Group two Little Avondale Stud Wakelfield Challenge Stakes Sam unleashed a blistering finish on the Mckee trained Pussy Willow. The O'Reilly filly bred and owned by Sir Patrick & Lady Hogan and P Walker overtook thenexpected winner in the last 100m to win comfortably and impressively over the 1200m event.
